Bug Description

Inkscape 0.47+devel r9486 on OS X 10.5.8, default settings

Steps to reproduce:
1) draw a path with several nodes
2) switch to node tool, activate 'Show Transform Handles'
3) select several nodes and skew the selection
4) switch back to select tool, duplicate path

Expected result:
Duplicated path is identical to the original

Actual result:
Skew transformation is missing in the duplicate

Workaround:
After skewing a selection of nodes apply a 'translate', 'rotate' or 'scale' transform and its reverse (e.g. move selection with the cursor key up and down). This triggers an update of the path data.

@Krzysztof - this should not be too hard to solve (the other transformations all update the path data as expected), any chance to get this fixed in time for 0.48.1?

The bug becomes immediately noticeable under the following settings:

Inkscape Preferences > Tools > Node
(ON) - Always show outlines
(ON) - Update outline when dragging nodes
(OFF) - Update path when dragging nodes

Skew some nodes, and even after the action is complete only the outline has been updated, the actual path is not.
