Hello. I investigated this issue. I found a issue with the font. Inside the ttf file, there are two 'u' -one on top of the other, copied-. I don't understand why GIMP shows it correctly, however. The attachment fixes this problem.

The font file shouldn't have two paths copied for the 'u' glyph but I don't know if the fact that is not showing up in inkscape is a bug or not.
