Bug Description

Inkscape.47, Ubuntu 9.10

Inkscape crashes after I convert a photo (tested with .bmp and .jpg) into a pattern, and then convert the object back into a path in order to manipulate its perspective using the node feature. Once I start moving any node, Inkscape will crash.
I got this message:

** (inkscape:2267): CRITICAL **: virtual const gchar* Inkscape::XML::SimpleNode::attribute(const gchar*) const: assertion `name != NULL' failed

** (inkscape:2267): CRITICAL **: virtual void Inkscape::XML::SimpleNode::setAttribute(const gchar*, const gchar*, bool): assertion `name && *name' failed

** (inkscape:2267): CRITICAL **: void sp_canvas_end_forced_full_redraws(SPCanvas*): assertion `canvas != NULL' failed

Emergency save activated!
Emergency save completed. Inkscape will close now.
If you can reproduce this crash, please file a bug at www.inkscape.org
with a detailed description of the steps leading to the crash, so we can fix it.
Segmentation fault

To see exactly what I mean, this is the tutorial instruction that I followed. It happens to me when I start performing the actions that you 'll see at the elapsed time 2:58. (You'll see that's when they begin dragging corners.)
