Alvin,

Right click on desktop shows a modified XP theme. The modification just
replaced the picture with a plain blue background.

sorry, I did not express that very well. What I meant was, if you
perform a Right-Mouse-Button click on the desktop, and select
Properties, and then select the tab called "Themes", does it say
"Windows Classic", or "Windows XP", or have you customized your desktop
theme in any way?

Status in Inkscape: A Vector Drawing Tool: New

Bug description:
Save dialog boxes do not appear on save command. I am using Windows XP SP2
and Inkscape 0.47. The save dialog box does not draw. The program goes into
"waiting for an entry mode" with the usual bonk. I can release this mode by
pressing ESC.
