path not displayed depending on zoom level

Bug Description

I'm using inkscape 0.47pre1, on an i386 Ubuntu Jaunty.

A path I'm editing disapears partly at some zoom levels. It happens when playing with alignment (some segments overlap). The nodes are still displayed and can be manipulated, but the segment it self is invisible. Zooming/unzooming can make them appear again.

This looks like a previous bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/166485 but I can't see the content of the original bug (this is a duplicate). I'm attaching an example file that exhibits the bug. If you start moving the nodes indicated by a big arrow, you'll see (at least, I can) that the left part of the path is hidden, then displayed again, and so on. If you move the node so that you can't see part of the path, you can play with the zoom to make it visible again.
