Steps to reproduce:

1. Type a text with the text tool (the "A" character), default font.
2. Resize the text so that it is about 500px tall (it seems that it's not reproducible with small sizes).
3. Apply a link offset.
4. Open the undo history.
5. Select the first entry of the undo history (unchanged), then the last one (Moving node handle).

After step 5, you should see a node position 0,0 attached to the offset path.
I've managed to reproduce it with the default Sans font on Ubuntu (DejaVu Sans), DejaVu Serif, Liberation Serif, Georgia, Droid Sans, but not with Arial.
