Printing PDF files - problem

When I print to file (PDF) the system always produces 2 pages, even if I set the print range at "1"
Is this an Inkscape problem or how Cairo handles the output?

I have tried putting a small image in the centre of the page, just in case something was spilling over, and get the
same result

I cannot duplicate this behaviour on Windows XP, Inkscape development version.
- could you specify the OS, and version of Inkscape?

Terry, such a problem has been reported already (but I do not find the issue number)
The problem has been solved in the development snapshots.

Could you get and try a recent development snapshot please.

sorry for the delay

At the moment I have 0.46 -2ubuntu2, in a week or so I will be upgrading Ubuntu to 9.04 and with it comes 0.46 -5ubuntu4 I will report back

Tavmjong Bah reported the problem has been fixed in 0.47
