icons not rendering on GUI

0.46 dev 20809 on OS X 10.5.6

1. icons on left side of GUI from 'spiral' to 'pick colors' and 'select and transform' do not render - they do work and the mouse over gives the correct icon description. Also 'select all objects' on horizontal menu bar #3 - same problem - see attached screenshot

2. icon mouse over descriptions no longer include key board shortcut - a handy feature

Hi stu,

A lot of changes have been made recently with respect to the icon handling, so this might have been solved already. It would be very helpful if you could test an (even) newer version. I'm not using a Mac so I cannot do that myself. About the tooltips: you're not the first to report this, but I guess it's intended this way (and not a bug). Don't know why though, I'll ask on the developers mailing list what's going on here, maybe someone can enlighten us.

I can confirm the missing toolbar icons on my system:

   Mac OS X 10.5.6
   XQuartz 2.3.2 (xorg-server 1.4.2-apple31)
   Inkscape 0.46+devel r20809, built Mar 3 2009

Following the discussion of bug 333263
<https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/333263> especially comment 10
<https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/333263/comments/10>, I replaced

   Inkscape.app/Contents/Resources/icons/icons.svg

with a more recent version e.g.

<http://inkscape.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/inkscape/inkscape/trunk/share/icons/icons.svg?revision=21167>

Now, all icons are rendered as expected.

There are not yet more recent development builds available for Mac OSX,
so no way for me to test a newer revision.

All toolbar and toolbox icons are visible (including 'Select all
Objects', 'Align and Distribute... -> Nodes' and 'Geometric Tools').

Many icons of the Commands Bar (Import/Export, Zoom, Duplicate/Clone,
Group/Ungroup, Fill and Stroke, Text and Font, Layers, XML View, Align
and Distribute) and even more on the Tool Controls Bar look blurred when
using the 'Large' icon size in preferences -> interface. And there seems
to be no apparent difference between icon size 'Small' and 'Smaller'.

1) icons issue: solved in recent development builds and 0.47pre0
2) keyboard shortcuts missing in tooltips: I've seen it mentioned several times in the devel mailing list, but found no response regarding the status/plan for 0.47. Maybe file a separate bug to gather more feedback/confirms from users who miss it?
