Comment 7 for bug 322113

Im also missing some info about status program, i mean, if it is running or not. Many times i have started two instances of Inkscape due to the long startup time. Close to the 15 seconds, Centrino Duo, 2.5GB RAM.

Please, all the professional design programs have splash screens, Illustrator, Corel, Indesign, Photoshop, Gimp, Scribus... why inkscape dont have it?
