Deleting preferences.xml is not helping.

Inkscape 0.48 (tried 0.49 - same problem)
Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen&Touch CTH-670
Windows 7 Home Basic SP1

PS: Gimp recognizes the tablet immediately.
