Update po files regularly

Bug Description

Since you are not making the pot file available to translators to use for updating their own po files, please do regularly update the po files in the trunk manually or automatically. They were last updated months ago. I just hope a new release is not imminent because translators do not have anything to translate.
Also, pot files on the translation documentation page are from February ...

I already filed a bug to make pot file available, but it is only a wishlist bug.

Lp, m.

That's probably something we can do. How often should we update the po files? Once a month (on the 15th)?
Helix already does it regularly, and it's translation update notes are very useful. If it's necessary to add planned updates, I can back up.

Well, I would suggest a script on the server that does it every night, so no manual work is required.

If the solution will be manual work, I would suggest weekly or at least fortnight updates.

One month is too much IMHO, especially considering those days leading to beta or rc versions, where new strings are dropping in on a daily/hourly basis, when everyone hurries to get into the release...

Thanks, m.

Of course, best would be to create the pot file daily, as I described in the bug
