Bug Description
On Win XP SP2 upgraded from .45.1 to .46 and could no longer select a font. When creating a new text object if I selected a font other than the default it would revert to the default when I typed. If I typed text in the default font, selected the text and attempted to change the font it would return to the default font immediately.
Uninstalled .46, reinstalled .45.1 and the problem went away.
This looks like it may be related to #168064.
