Comment 3 for bug 223002

I was just searching for exactly this function. I have used inkscape to draw a basic site plan, but not being able to set a scale makes it much harder. There are 3d programs but this isn't what I wanted. Inkscape would be great for doing a 2d plan if setting the scale was possible.
