Comment 4 for bug 202704

In my opinion, it doesn't really matter if it's a fair comparison or not, because yesterday i had to switch back to 0.45-1 because Inkscape was really unusable with a document i edited (and I suppose the blurring method not to change in the stable version, although I don't know). Moreover, i really didn't notice any difference in the blurring quality.

I'm using an Asus A8JS with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2 x 2.0 GHz and 2 GB of RAM (which is not a too old computer). With the document i attached, it gets really inconvenient at zoom levels higher than 100%.

I'd appreciate it very much to have a possibility to switch back to the "old" blurring method, as the quality difference isn't too big and transformed shapes blur about 10 - 15 times faster here.
