Comment 2 for bug 188381

Hello, I've tried applying the patch and I can confirm it works. Is there any reason why it hasn't been committed?

Would it be possible to rename Tolerance into "Smooth" by the way? It would sound less technical and more intuitive to users. In any case, any additional smoothing would have to be done by implementing your other feature:
