Regression: Can no longer call F&S dialog via individual tool preferences

Bug Description

Per the summary, if you double click the fill & stroke widget in any tool's preference page for it's per-tool style, the Fill & Stroke dialog no longer opens. For me it will even randomly crash if I try it with the pen tool.

Linux, SVN rev 17152.

Confirmed under Linux, SVN rev 17039 (Jan 13). The 'Take from selection' button works, but otherwise setting fill/stroke from the prefs is broken.

this is different under the Jan 19 build (from ubuntu .deb). instead of crashing, the Preferences dialogue appears. which is still annoying, and useless.
