If I duplicate the logo and turn one yellow, the PDF is perfect but has no blurs. The ps print or save has one logo not too bad, but the other way too big. It also has some clear problems with fonts as it tries to drop back to bitmap for the blurs. 200dpi for bitmaps seems to do a lot better blurs, but gets more messed up fonts. Sample attached is a screenshot of the ps file as viewed in gsview.
It seems that these problems only occur when blur is used as present.
The next thing I will do is to try to get a minimum test case for the error messages above, but these were for a much more complex image.
