In answer to case [ 1591386 ] Perspective 2-point and 3-point grids; and
Inkscape 0.45.1 (current version), files are included to strengthen my
point. (I couldn't add them to his list?)
.
Perhaps it's useful to be able to import embedded objects (ole's as it's
called in Windows), or a (feathered) portal? For a 3D programme (like
Blender) & Anti-Grain (I am so impressed). Perhaps it's useful when
implementing Tavmjong Bah's idea. Excellent!
I've added some examples of what I mean, in the files list, as influenced
by Tavmjong. (Thanks for those files, and its accompagning proposal.)
Perspective change was done with the Gimp, matrix was (roughly, I retraced
it)
-0,000599 8,4e-005 1,27
0,17 1,01 -178
0,142 -0,445 1,05e+003

Happy developping!
A screenshot of The Gimp is included, as are the (low-resd:) source files.
(It's a CD front by the way, 12x12cm)
Files included:
collage (low-res).zip (I've edited the svg file, export to zip didn't work
(yet)
Screenshot the Gimp.jpg (as persuaded by horkana, thanks)
