Bug Description
the ability to externally reference files in the
inkscape SVG file format (when saved to standard SVG
the file would be automatically imported). you could
then adjust the rotation, scale, and postition of the
entire entity, all relative to the original.

Please try not to file anonymous requests. instead please
get an account and login so we can ask for follow up
information if necessary.
Please also try checking through existing request to avoid
filing duplicate reports. Similar reports may already
exist. As part of SVG compliance I would expect this sort
of linking support to be implemented eventually, you may
want to check and see if it is already on the roadmap
somwhere.
