What I'm seeing on a number of machines with .092 installed, is that the default.svg is set to display units = mm with a scale of 1.

I believe this default scale is incorrect, or at least very confusing and problematic for output to the real world and Inkscape symbol libraries.

Export to dxf results in objects 26.458% of proper size. Similar results when using symbol libraries created using this default scale.

(The 0.91 machines within my reach have default display units = px with a scale of 1. I believe this is correct, for <=0.91.)

IMHO: The default.svg for 0.92 should have default units = px with a scale of 1.

When set in this fashion, output to cad filetypes are correct size, and symbol libraries size properly across documents.

Attached below is a symbol library created using default document settings. Contents: one rectangle symbol 254 mm sq. Use of the symbol library in other documents results in a symbol 67.204 mm sq.

Attached below is a dxf exported with mm as units. Source is the symbol document have one rectangle object 254 mm sq. Resulting dxf contains one rectangle object 67.204 mm sq.

Considering the effort to ease the transition to 96 dpi, it might be a good idea to setup the default.svg document to embody that ratio, with display units px and scale of 1.

Thanks,
