I can't seem either to do so but the reason seems to be a
misconfiguration in the perl linking in my (fink-based) inkscape
installation. I had downloaded ill2svg separately from the inkscape web-
site.
Why not try to run ill2svg directly ?
Among others, the eps file is with Mac line-endings, and the line-endings
are not specifiable in the current import dialog of Inkscape.
The command that worked for me are the following:
ill2svg.pl -l mac /tmp/ill-text-troubles/Table_Salle_A_manger_harico.eps
> /tmp/blop.svg
inkscape /tmp/blop.svg
Interestingly, there's a load of errors afterwards in inkscape such as
WARNING **: No style property value at: stroke-width:
(maybe due to the "hairline width" of several of my strokes ?
