This is surely priority 9, altough I would classify it as 99
at least myself...

Inkscape is a great app, but having a white line terminating
in a black arrowhead is a COMPLETE show stopper that makes a
user close the application and never look back. But I'm
stubborn... :-)

I used furuti's workaround and it worked - although I don't
know what would happen if I had different arrows with
different colours, since there was only one ArrowSstart and
one ArrowSend in the markers section, but I had two arrows
in the drawing.Since both of them changed colour, even when
I changed one path only, I guess ALL arrowheads ArrowSstart
would be white, no matter what the colour of the object, but
would have to test that to be sure.

I hope this gets solved soon, because no serious user will
ever consider messing around an XML editor to do anything,
let alone something as fundamental as this.

Again, thanks for the great app, and keep up the good work.
BTW, I'm running Inkscape 0.43, SuSE 9.2
