Comment 3 for bug 1658288

Reproduced on Windows XP (32-bit), lp:inkscape/0.92.x rev. 15325.

The objects are linked to "fake" linear gradient (due to the use of auto swatch). Modifying the alpha channel of the color in the Fill and stroke dialog changes the stop-opacity of the linked linear gradient, and there's no obvious way to change the fill-opacity.

Workaround: switch to flat color in the fill tab and modify the fill-opacity, and then switch back to swatch and apply the swatch fill color again.
