Bug Description

How to reproduce: turn on grid (set the size to something larger than 1 pixel, so it's more clear). Start scaling something so it snaps to grid in such a way that it has zero width or height - Inkscape will crash.

- could you specify which OS, and which Inkscape version, see Inkscape menu item Help->About
- could you attach a demo svg file, just before the crash?
- which specific snap options have you enabled. I tried it with "snap nodes, paths and handles" on Win7 (32 bit), Inkscape 0.91 r13725 (Jan 30 2015) and was unable to produce a crash.

It's on Ubuntu 14.04. The bug is still present in today update. I have attached the SVG so you can check what snap modes are on. The blue rectangle when you try to scale it a few times will crash Inkscape.

Based on the information extracted from the SVG file:

the reporter used unstable trunk PPA (but did not specify this, nor mention which revision the last tested package was at).

Assuming duplicate of
* Bug #1541727 “Crash when stretching a rect snapped to a guide”
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1541727

(A quick test with locally archived and latest trunk builds using the SVG file from comment #2 confirms: crash reproduced with r14904, not reproduced with r14914, r14954. The regression tracked in bug #1541727 was fixed in r14905)
