no crashes on linux (debian testing, 0.91 release show "(inkscape:31621): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_text_buffer_emit_insert: assertion 'g_utf8_validate (text, len, NULL)' failed" warnings, but trunk r14666 is just fine)
