Please add information about OS/platform and tested Inkscape versions to the bug description, thank you.

To allow further investigation of the reported issue, please attach a test case to the bug report (original Inkscape SVG file, exported DXF files with different Inkscape versions) and add details about the DXF export settings used in Inkscape.

On OS X 10.7.5, with same export settings (otherwise default prefs):
- not reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.4
- reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.5, Inkscape 0.91
- not reproduced with Inkscape 0.91+devel r14313

Regression seems fixed in current trunk - the underlying issue is likely already tracked in older report.

yes, this appears to be a duplicate of Bug 1429184, which was fixed in rev 13980

- could you re-test with a recent version of the code? You will need to download the two files dxf_outlines.py and dxf_outlines.inx from the site:
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~inkscape.dev/inkscape/trunk/files/head:/share/extensions/

and place them in the directory Inkscape\share\extensions\.

Is that bug fix not included in the most recent windows installer?

as mentioned previously, in comment 10, you can try this code out just by downloading it directly from the website. This is Python code, so it runs all by itself, without any need to re-compile Inkscape. Just replace your current py and inx file with the new files and give it a try.
