I am using Inkscape 0.91 r13725 on the recently-released Windows 10. When I copy vector objects of any type from one document to another one in a separate window, the data is rasterized, sometimes incorrectly. Within the same document, copy-paste works as expected.
It appears that there is/was a similar bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/307005) in OS X, although it appears that that particular bug affected intra-document pasting as well. |
I am using Inkscape 0.91 r13725 on the recently-released Windows 10 64-bit. I had installed Inkscape on Windows 8.1, before I upgraded. I am not sure if this bug applies on other versions of Windows, but I don't recall it happening before I upgraded.

I am unsure if this bug applies on other versions of Windows, but I don't recall it happening before I upgraded. I managed to work around this by deleting the rest of the document, saving the objects I wanted t o copy over, and importing the file, although obviously this is rather clunky.

EDIT: It appears that this bug is somewhat inconsistent, as later on today I copied and pasted between documents just fine. |
