I added the svg files with dropped emf and emf+ and saved them to the known folder.
When you open the files there seems to be nothing. But there are already inserted. But not displayed. Only in Version 48.5 these things working.

Thanks for finding the needle and figure out the problem.

When the Problem will be fixed your development will bring inkscape more near as an real alternative to Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator.
