1. Snap window to left or right side by on Windows (Vista+) by dragging it or using Windows key + Left or Right
2. Make InkScape open a second window (File > Document Properties) or the sidebar (double-click Contour in the status bar)
3. The main window will be resized and repositioned instead of remaining snapped.

This does not occur if window is maximized.
