Changing text alignment with selected text causes text object to move

Bug Description

Looks like the logic for aligning the text is moving the anchor point when alignment changes, and not the text relative to the anchor point.

To reproduce:

1. Create a text object with some text
2. Select that text (not the text object) Selecting all or some of the text doesn't seem to matter.
3. Switch between left/center/right alignment a few times.

Observed: Text object moves to the right the more you switch alignments
Expected: Text object stays where it originally started.

Version: Inkscape 0.48.4 r9939
