Bug Description

- open INkscape, click on Text Tool F8
- create some normal text, not flowtext
- open Text and Font dialog, note that the Apply button is disabled
- change font size in Text and Font dialog, note that Apply button is still disabled
- click somewhere else to remove focus from text
- click on text to regain focus
- change font size again, note that Apply button is now enabled
- once it is enabled the Apply button appears to work properly. however, on the initial use, it appears to be necessary to first de-focus and then re-focus on the same text object. Also, it is not sufficient to change focus from F8 to F1, for example. It is necessary to actually unfocus the text object itself, which gives the impression that the dialog does not work.

- reproduced on Inkscape 0.91

yes, based on comment 7 from Bug #1391037 , there is a bit of a workaround available.
- rather than immediately trying to change the font size, first reselect the Font Family and then change the font size, and then click Apply. This is simpler than deselecting the text.

I guess the point is that the font family name should not be deselected when the Apply button is hit
