Bug Description

See attached screencast and SVG-file: changing the start marker of a path (from none to arrow) has no effect.

Inkscape 0.91 on Windows 7 Pro.

Related to this (probably): paste style does not copy the marker either.

Not reproduced (based on the actions as shown in the screencast) with Inkscape 0.91 r13725 on OS X 10.7.5 (tested with default new prefs as well as with my own prefs settings).

There's likely a trigger hidden somewhere, possibly specific to the user's Inkscape settings at the time the report was filed (details about the user's preferences are unknown, as are steps to reproduce the reported issue from scratch (in a new document)).

Note: the lines in the test case (SVG file) all have a path effect applied, unintentionally - see also the test case in bug #1441455. AFAICT though this has no side effects on whether or not a (start) marker can be added.
