Can not set font type

Bug Description

The font when writing text can not be changed.

-Start InkScape.
-Click on the text icon.
-Select Times New Roman font (or another one if that one is already selected.
-Click on the canvas.
-Note the selected font. It has changed back to the previous one.

OS: Windows 7
InkScape: 0.91

Selecting a font family without an active text object used to change the default font in 0.48 [1] - this is know to not work with 0.91 and already tracked in
