Hello Jabiertxof, thanks for the update! I have tried rev 13682.
For what I called Case 1 in comment 15, the behavior now appears to be correct, thanks.
However Case 2 in comment 15 still does not behave as expected, resulting file attached here. There is a serious mismatch between the rectangle and the document.
