Bug Description

Some large text that I try to export to .pdf files takes on some strange 3d shading. I have attached an example.
I have been able to fix this by replacing the text in the document with new text, but the existing text only seems to have this strange characteristic after I export it.

Please add information about OS/platform and Inkscape version (see Inkscape menu 'Help > About Inkscape') to the bug description.

A screenshot of a PDF does not allow to further investigate the reported issue - please attach the original SVG file (or a reduced test case affected by the same problem), and the copy saved as PDF.

AFAICT this is similar to
- Bug #1245240 “Saving outlined text as PDF: progressive shift of the outline relatively to the character”
  <https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1245240>

The affected text object in the SVG file has a thin black stroke applied in addition to the black fill. On PDF export, there are two objects generated, a path (the outline) for the stroke, text for the fill. These two objects don't match exactly, though details seem to vary.

Workaround: remove the black stroke from the text (the difference is barely noticeable at 100% zoom level).

Reproduced on OS X 10.7.5 with
- Inkscape 0.48.3.1, cairo 1.12.2
- Inkscape 0.48+devel r13508, cairo 1.12.16
- Inkscape 0.48.5, cairo 1.12.16
- Inkscape 0.48+devel r13508, cairo git master
