Bug Description

Saving outlined text as PDF: progressive shift of the outline relatively to the character

The shift of outline is most visible with lines of text long enough (in this example the text is long about 900 mm) and becomes more sensitive on the right side.
[Try with black text (es. Arial Black) whith white outline and gray background (50%) and page wide 1000 mm]

Windows XP Home edition, Service pack 3, notebook Acer Aspire L5002, 32 bit

@Ezio, could you please give your Inkscape version and attach the SVG file you used to create the PDF so that we could investigate? Thanks!

Dear Jazzinico, I already had written the following message ...
But, before sending it, I tried a last time ... and the problem appeared!
Now I attach two files: Test.svg and Test.pdf.
In the file Test.svg there are no problems: the outline is perfectly
aligned with the font's edges on the left side of the text and on the right
side.
Open now Test.pdf (I use Sumatra or PDFXChange portable viewer), zoom on
the text and watch as you scroll from left to right: the wrong shift of the
outline increases proportionally scrolling to the right ...
Thank you for your attention.

Yours sincerely,
Ezio Romanelli

Dear Jazzinico, I received your request for clarification.
When I reported the problem I attached the .svg file and the corresponding
..pdf file, to show that the problem there was only on the .pdf file saved
directly from Inkscape. I've not kept those two files and so now, after
your request, I attempted several times to reproduce the problem I
reported, but the failure are no longer presented!!
Obviously I was wrong. Please excuse me for reporting a false problem!

Thanks for the work you do.
Ezio Romanelli

note: I work with the Inkscape 0.48.4 r9939 release (Portable Apps
version): the same one I used when I reported the problem.
