This would be fully dependent on the implementation of multiple pages. If multiple pages were to be done in a single SVG file/document, you could still not have the same id on a different page.

Really, you want an easy way to work with snap.svg. In this case it would probably best be done by an extension akin to the existing extension for jessyink.
