Group[TextA(not Blur)+Text(blur)] doesn't work

I created two text objects one with blue and other without blur, when I try to Group them using Ctrl + G, it doesn't work

1) Please add information about OS/platform and Inkscape version (see Inkscape menu 'Help > About Inkscape') to the bug description.
2) Please clarify what "doesn't work" actually means (there is no group is created? Does the filtered (blurred) text object disappear temporarily? Or something completely different?)
