Reproduced with r12660 on OS X 10.7.5

Based on tests with archived builds:
- not reproduced with revision <= 12593
- reproduced with revision >= 12594
this regression of the bounding box calculation of ellipse/circles was introduced in
Revision 12594: More refactoring, creation of member methods, ...
