Some imported pictures doesn't export to PDF

The attached files is original a PDF.

After making some text corrections, I'd exort it as a *svg and *.pdf.

The reloaded *.svg works ok but in *.pdf the picture 'MG Maria Galland, Paris' is lost.

Every other picture in this page and according pages is ok.

Is this a bug, or what?

Please provide information about OS/platform and Inkscape version (see Inkscape menu 'Help > About Inkscape').

OS platform is Windows XP SP 2 32 bit
Inkscape version is 0.48.4 r9939

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.4 and 0.48+devel r12419 on OS X 10.7.5 (tested with cairo 1.12.2 and 1.12.14): the masked image (result of the PDF import) is missing when exporting to PDF again.

Earlier reports about the same issue (there are probably more of them):

Proposing to link as duplicate to bug #427540 (workaround as mentioned in comment #7 works with this file too).
