Dear Pavel and others on this bug tracker:

I just installed Inkscape 0.91 r13725 (64-bit) on Windows 10
Professional 64-bit, Lenovo X1 Carbon Yoga ultrabook.

I am experiencing the same and/or similar issues with Inkscape as in my
original post. I will attempt some of the fixes suggested back in the
chain if they apply.
