I've experienced this issue in a way that after I click once, I am unable to use Inkscape at all, even after losing and regaining focus. However, if I double click anywhere inside Inkscape, the preferences menu pops up. The program doesn't freeze, as I am able to properly resize the window. I don't have any of the aforementioned programs running.
