Reproduced on Windows XP, Inkscape 0.48.4.
Not reproduced with trunk revision 12119.

Steps:
1. Open a blank new document.
2. Launch Extensions>Render>Barcode
3. Double-click on the Bar Height value.
4. Set another value with the keyboard (not with the arrows!).
5. Press the Esc key.
