Bug Description
I'm using layers and in every layer are objects or lines. When I select all the object in all layers I can make a group but when I ungroup this group, the objects are not in the different layers anymore. They are in one layer. The layers are still existing but all the work put in to use different layers is gone.

Same complaint as Bug #775839 “layer info gets lost with object group”

As much as objects can't belong to several groups at the same time, it is technically not possibly for objects within one group to belong to different layers (layers in Inkscape are implemented as groups) - see also comment #3 in bug #171627.
