This looks like a good idea but adding this requires creating additional launcher for the indicator itself so that the user can launch the indicator later.

With dropbox launching the binary adds the indicator automatically but in current implementation of Ubuntu One launching the ubuntuone-syncdaemon process fro u1sdtool or control panel will not start an indicator.

Alternatively the indicator can hide itself when Ubuntu One client is not running.
