Bug Description

On the top right bar, the time says "9:20AM"

When I click on it, it incorrectly says "Monday, 6 February 2012"

In the calendar itself the correct day, 7, is highlighted.

when the clock display is set to include the date, it correctly says "Feb 7 9:20AM"

in summary, the clock is correct, the calendar is correct, but the date display is incorrect!

using the Bangkok location if that has any bearing

when looking at date in other parts of the system, eg, command line and firefox, the correct day is returned. the problem appears isolated to this one display area

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/928001/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

This sounds very much like Bug #917236, particularly the detail about the calendar showing the correct date even though the short label is wrong.
