My Date/Time (and some other indicators) do now show up at all after an upgrade from 12.04 to 14.04. I have reported it on a separate report https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-datetime/+bug/1317288

I am not sure if it is the same problem or a different one.
