vanadium, it's possible for more than one bug to cause the same symptom. And commenting in the report of a fixed bug generally isn't a good way to get other bugs fixed. Instead, at a terminal please enter "ubuntu-bug indicator-datetime" (without quotes) to report the bug you're seeing. Thanks.
