Comment 2 for bug 658824

I too am affected by this bug, and also followed the guide on OMG Ubuntu. When the desktop has focus the "Places" menu has way to many bookmark entries, 21 or more, only 5 bookmarks should be showing. The extra entries do nothing as far as I can tell, but I am unable to remove them. Running Ubuntu 10.10 32bit
