Confirming the bug. indicator-applet used 390 minutes CPU time in 5 days uptime. X and pulseaudio used ~200. Applied the fix, and after 2 days, it has used 22 minutes CPU time. Still seems a tad high at 11 minutes per day, but its better now.

Will this fix be pushed to general Jaunty users?
